Thanks for this video! However, on my 2014 Yaris, the old brake shoe with the emergency brake connection does not have a pin with a cotter pin but a rivet instead. Any idea of where I can buy the pin which is not included in the kit? Or any idea to work around that encounter?

What “somebody” needs to do is build a powerful lint-vacuum with multiple hose attachments for all types of dry vents . I have a flat hose that is supposed to be universal but doesn’t work with my powerful shop-vac because my shop-vac connection is much larger than the universal connection. I’m too old to be rummaging inside a dryer and my fingers are not as dextrous as they used to be. 😢 I love this machine, but manufacturers really need to rethink dryer vents and cleaning.

I just put cheese cloth over my lint screen and then shake it when I'm done drying. A lot easier 👍🏼

Used this approach today on my mother-in-law's Maytag 3000 series dryer that is over 10 years old and suddenly had a burning smell which I figured for a belt or motor. Nope. 2 cubic feet of lint later, and it is working like a champ. Thanks!

Considering the amount of lint you vacuumed out of the trap alone, I would think that there was MORE inside the machine itself. That being said, I think removing the bulkhead and vacuuming the inside of the dryer as well as the exhaust tube would be worth the extra effort. 😎

Other ways painting the back side of the panel with a rubber or plastic paint with squares of weather proof batting … using a little RF tape to block wire noise is always a plus

My friend gave me his Jet filtration just like yours. Had it in the garage for couple years and finally took it for a run.... Mine does nothing no lights or anything. The capacitor is bulging slightly like you showed yours. I had just shown my son that same bulging just priort to finding your gem of a video. Thanks for posting! If I am not getting any lights whatsoever but do have 120 power past the fuse then I have another issue than just the capacitor right? Power supply too maybe? I guess on a 2013 the caliper doesn't rotate to give access to change the pads when you only remove the top 14mm pin. I have to remove the whole caliper via the 19mm pins.

I love my C-Max but it's just the most difficult car ever to work on.

The right turn started to blink very fast, didn't pay much attention to it but now, had to jumpstart the car twice now. Is it possible the fast blinking is what is causing the car not to start? Could it be affecting the battery?

Quite possibly a fire hazard, that the majority of us are living with , and not being aware of . Think it would be a good idea if when you pay appliance insurance this should be part of a service agreement, or made easier to be able to get to yourself . Heath and safety in your home , and especially if you live in high rise apartments, doesn’t bare thinking about . I thank you that I am now very aware of this hazard so grateful.
